Nardine Oakes has been a strength and conditioning coach for the last 19 years, working with athletes from amateur through to the Olympic level. Several years ago she decided to combine her love of horses with her love of coaching people and created The Strong Rider. "
I wanted to educate riders on how strength and conditioning training could help with their riding & the benefits of off horse training. I wanted to provide a program and knowledge that would help them become a stronger, fitter, flexible and confident rider." She works with equestrians on their rider biomechanics through her unique rider audits, runs educational clinics, and creates programs specific to equestrians.
She is a big advocate of the horse and believes we owe it to our horses to work on ourselves.
