Finding freedom over every fence.
Abby Rigert, a 22-year-old equestrian from suburban Chicago, has mild right hemiparesis cerebral palsy from a stroke at birth. This condition affects her right leg, making it challenging to keep her heel down in the stirrup. Despite this, Abby has pursued riding for years, exploring multiple disciplines.
Her true passion lies in jumping—she has competed in the hunters and is currently showing in the jumpers. Abby has represented Para Equestrian sport at BreyerFest as part of the Para Showjumping North America Team.
